Become The Stars

“Become the Stars” is one of several of Virtuwul’s songs that he plays on Acoustic Mastery….These songs are perfect examples of how to combine many techniques together in creating killer riffs and songs…

He’s masterfully picking an interesting version of the Amaj guitar chord combined with pull offs… As well as an interesting way to “enter” C#min chord… and many other cool guitar techniques.

    Hi Musicians

Now, this was very beautyful acoustic playing, kind of Master Class picking.
This made a Fulltime Musician on a very inspiring mood, this is the way the songs comes out of our heads.

Real nice, I would like this one. This guy plays nice and it looks simple with a great sound. If you send more clips like this I know it will help guitarist like myself and others to play as well. Thanks for the track and tips looking forward to seeing more. Your loyal listener Manuel.

IN response to the major and minor pentatonic scales video.I know its an easy way to exlain by movin minor shape down 3 frets, u get major pentatonic with a different root note.
I learned like this also, but found it confusin for many years, havin to jump up and down the fretboard to change minor pent., scale to major pent., scale, & back again as necessary.
EVENTALLY, I figured out the FIVE basic PENTATONIC Shapes!THEN if for ex.,i was playin to an A blues I,IV,V chord progession using position 1 of pent scale at 5th fret, for A MINOR.Instead of moving the whole position down 3 frets(to F# bass note area),TO OBTAIN THE A MAJOR pentatonic.INSTEAD I WOULD STAY AT 5TH FRET, & PLAY POSITION 2, of the FIVE basic PENTATONIC Shapes.INSTANTLY changing from minor to major pentatonic as desired/required.Without huge fret leaps!
This was ALSO MUCH MORE USEFUL,later on when tryin to understand new theory Ideas like modes etc.!!THANKS FOR READING.

I appreciate the brief on-line demos. However, I only purchased the online lessons about two weeks ago and have absolutely zero music experience or knowledge. It would be nice if you added some very basic demos (you might think that this one is very basic) and although you adequately explained “pull-off”, I still don’t know what “hammer” means.
PS - I have begun your online lessons and they are great, even for a rank beginner like me. Worth every penny. Thanks. Nick James.

Howdy! I enjoyed the what I saw and heard. I am quite adjusted to pull-offs and hammering myself so that was kewl. I am however interested in learning the song ” Manequella”( hope the spelling is correct) and also ” Classical Gas “. I normally perform Country Music and also Doo - Wop along with my Brother. I play the guitar and Brother plays the Yamaha portable drum set. We set -up through a PA system along with a special vocalizer for Harmony based on the chords I play and we aslso do what is called ” Cross- Harmony” Once again thankyou for that video …..
